Synopsis
--------
In order to let Nagisa rest after she is exhausted by the battle with
the Dilos-Theta, Iczer One puts her in the Iczer Robo.
During that time, Cepia, who has been appointed Commander of Cotuwolf's
transition fortress Nova, has descended to Earth.
Nagisa stubbornly refuses to become her partner, so Iczer One gives
Nagisa a bracelet to protect her, and then goes to spy on the Nova.
During that time, Nagisa meets Sayoko and her mother. At the same time,
Iczer One being pulled into another dimension, fights two Voids.
Influenced by the battle between the Fuji-2 and Nova, the other
dimension collapses, and Iczer One, restored to the proper dimension,
defeats the Voids. However, her younger sister Iczer Two reveals
herself and Iczer One is overwhelmed by her power and injured.
Meanwhile, Nagisa is being surrounded by monsters. Sayoko's mother
is taken over by a Bedem and turns into a monster; Nagisa tries her
hardest to protect Sayoko with a barrier.
But when Nagisa prays for the power to protect Sayoko, Iczer Robo
appears with a glitter...
Story
-----
A mysterious object makes its way through space. The shape of that object
is suggestive of a huge pyramid; it is Cotuwolf's transition fortress
"Nova". Nova immediately approaches Earth and descends. Destroying
the buildings on the Earth's surface, Nova lands while crushing them.
The command hall inside Nova...
CREW Nova has completed descent.
CEPIA Good; collect the Dilos-Theta at once. Prepare the Voids'
sorties; do not allow Iczer One to approach. Collect the
Dilos to the aft analysis room.
Cepia is on the command deck.
CEPIA At last I've come... Cobalt, without fail I will make
your enemy pay.
Iczer One stands in the ruined city. She stares fixedly at Nova.
ICZER ONE Cotuwolf's transition fortress... what in the world
do they intend to do?
Iczer One's thoughts are uneasy.
ICZER ONE Impossible...!? Big Gold!
Fight, Iczer One!! Act-II: The Challenge of Izcer Sigma
ICZER ONE Nagisa... Nagisa!
Nagisa was sleeping inside Iczer Robo, and wakes up to Iczer One's
voice.
NAGISA Wah!!
Nagisa wakes up and, getting a grasp on her situation, cries out
in a surprised voice.
NAGISA Th -- This!! It's terrible, you stuffed me into a robot
again, didn't you!
Nagisa confronts Iczer One.
ICZER ONE Because you were terribly exhausted, I let you
rest here.
Iczer One explains.
ICZER ONE Nagisa, I will infiltrate Cotuwolf's fortress with
Iczer Robo: won't you please fight with me?
NAGISA No, let me out!
ICZER ONE Eh? Why, Nagisa?
NAGISA (Mockingly) Nagisa! Don't call me 'Nagisa' so familiarly.
I must have told you I wouldn't fight; at any rate, let
me out of here!
ICZER ONE Nagisa!! Forgive me, but you fought Dilos. Weren't
you fully synchronized with me that time?
NAGISA What are you talking about! Whose fault is it that
I've become like this. Well, if you don't let me go,
I simply won't allow it!!
ICZER ONE Why is it no use? Nagisa...
NAGISA Don't speak to me so familiarly!
ICZER ONE Yes...
NARRATOR At about that time, the Defense Joint Army Far East
Base, opposing the unknown, aggressive enemy, has forced
a very unusual opposing government. Earth orbital station
W3 has discovered a huge object behind the moon, and has
confirmed that a series of incidents has been caused by
that thing. However, they didn't know that the evil hand
of the aggressor, Cotuwolf, was gradually beginning to
stretch towards the world by means of frightful monster
weapons. Inside a storehouse at the Far East Base.
STAFF MEMBER Hm?
One staff member is working there, but upon feeling something strange,
he turns around. Suddenly, a Bedem comes flying out from behind him, and
grabs the staff member's head. The staff member ends up infected by the
parasite, without resistance. In the analysis room inside Nova, the
analysis of the recovered Dilos-Theta is done. Cepia goes to Cobalt's
body which, recovered from that Dilos, is laid to rest in that room.
CEPIA Cobalt's body?
WOMAN Lord Cepia... I wish you wouldn't go see...
CEPIA I don't care.
Cepia walks into the room.
CEPIA Cobalt... AH!!
Looking at the body, Cepia gasps.
CEPIA Ah...
While desperately restraining her overflowing tears, Cepia salutes
Cobalt's body and leaves. In her own room, Cepia is overwhelmed by
grief. But news of Sir Violet's arrival comes to Cepia there.
SIR VIOLET You have said your farewells to Cobalt?
Sir Violet has called Cepia to appear in the command hall.
CEPIA Y -- Yes, Sir Violet.
SIR VIOLET Cepia, you are the Commander of this transition fortress,
Nova, therefore, to perform the destruction of Iczer One,
you will be the commander of Iczer Sigma.
CEPIA I am very sorry, I didn't mean to cry any more. But the
sight of poor Cobalt...
SIR VIOLET Turn that sadness and anger completely against Iczer One.
You understand, don't you, Cepia...
CEPIA Yes! Without fail: I will destroy Iczer One. Then I will
have Cobalt's revenge.
Cepia answers Sir Violet purposefully.
SIR VIOLET Big Gold has already begun to act. Soon she will choose
your partner.
Sir Violet speaks with some significance.
CEPIA My partner...
Nagisa alights from Iczer Robo with Iczer One.
NAGISA Wh -- What! This outfit...!
ICZER ONE That' s something to protect you. I'm going to
infiltrate the fortress to find out what Cotuwolf's up
to. Until then, Nagisa, you must fight alone.
NAGISA Fight, you say... I can't do that...
Iczer One leaves Nagisa and goes to invade Cotuwolf's transition
fortress.
NAGISA Why did you choose me...! ?
ICZER ONE Because I love you, Nagisa.
And, saying that, Iczer One quickly teleports.
NAGISA It's strange... Completely deserted...
After parting from Iczer One, Nagisa wanders aimlessly around the city
streets, becoming uneasy at the strange surroundings.
NAGISA There really is... Nobody...?
Again Nagisa walks around. But, discovering a single person, she
suddenly comes to a halt. The person is a policeman.
POLICEMAN What are you doing hanging around? This area is a
No Trespassing district.
NAGISA N -- No Trespassing...
POLICEMAN You don't appear too honest... Please come with me.
The policeman grasps Nagisa's arm. Nagisa is reluctant. But then,
Nagisa's body glows, and a line of light pierces the policeman's body.
The policeman's body, struck by the line of light, suddenly begins
to swell. Then at last, innumerable tentacles pierce the body and
come flying out. Nagisa is enveloped by the tentacles. However, the
bracelet on her right arm gives off light; independent of
Nagisa's wishes, her right arm lifts, and a beam shot from the
bracelet shatters the monster in a single flash.
NAGISA No, no!!
Nagisa stares at her own right arm, but because of unease and fear,
she runs away from that place.
NAGISA I... I said I won't fight...!
Finished running around aimlessly, Nagisa has returned to her
own house.
NAGISA I'm such a fool... Coming back home... Neither Mom
nor Dad exists any more.
Then, Nagisa turns around, startled at hearing a sound.
SAYOKO Mama!! Mama!!
A little girl is clinging to her exhausted mother.
NAGISA Ah, you two... Impossible...
SAYOKO Mama! Help Mama!! Mama will die!
The little girl appeals to her desperately, but Nagisa just stares
vacantly. At about that time, Iczer One is planning a way to break into
Cotuwolf's transition fortress. However, the scenery around Iczer One
changes suddenly.
ICZER ONE Another dimension... I'm imprisoned...
To prevent Iczer One's approach, Cotuwolf has broken into another
dimension. Then, a new type of Void comes attacking Iczer One.
ICZER ONE It's fast!!
Iczer One cries out when she sees the movements of the new type of
Void. Iczer One searches for the hidden Void. Void flies out from before
her very feet, comes stabbing at her, and disappears again.
ICZER ONE where is it!?
Iczer One senses its appearance behind her, turns around, and crosses
swords with the descending Void. A room in the Nova fortress...
CEPIA Void is restraining Iczer One. I don't think any
number of rascals could easily escape from that
dimension.
SIR VIOLET Splendid, Cepia. Come here... Please observe...
Your partner will be Iczer Two.
CEPIA This...
ICZER TWO Good morning, Cepia...
Cepia is startled when Iczer Two suddenly begins to speak.
ICZER TWO My lovely partner -- we'll get along very well,
won't we?
CEPIA Y -- Yes, pleased to meet you.
SIR VIOLET Heh, heh, heh... You look frightened, Cepia. If
Iczer Two, and then Iczer Sigma, begin to awaken, then
with regard to Iczer One, she is already no enemy.
ICZER TWO Cepia, it will be enjoyable when we synchronize
together... In my otherself, Iczer Sigma....
Nagisa is talking with the mother and child she helped.
NAGISA So, Sayoko's father is...
SAYOKO'S MOTHER The people in charge ended up turning into such terrible
things as that one... I don't know what to make of it any
more... It is like waking up after running with Sayoko
in a dream.
The mother speaks quietly.
MOTHER Um... Do you believe me...?
NAGISA I believe you... The same thing happened to my parents...
MOTHER Your parents, too!
NAGISA Sayoko was serious, saying her mother would die.
MOTHER Well... This child!
NAGISA You're fine now, right?
SAYOKO Yes!
At that time, the Defense Joint Forces Fuji Base is under attack by
Cotuwolf. The crew members being infested by the secretly infiltrating
Cotuwolf monsters, one after another the bases begin to be destroyed
inside, No kind of human weapon is of any use against them. The monsters
continue to invade, while continuing to infect and destroy. The Captain
enters the bridge of the Fuji-2.
CAPTAIN From here the Fuji-2 will launch to attack the enemy
fortress!
VOICE Fuji Base! Will we go to try to save the base?
VOICE What in the world is the enemy, when and how did they
infiltrate?
VOICE Damned beasts!
CAPTAIN This is an order. As I see it, the Fuji-2 must not share
the same fate of the base.
VOICE But, Captain... The control center's been destroyed.
The launch gate will not open.
CAPTAIN I don't care. Ascend as is! Main engine, start.
The Fuji-2's engine begins to start.
CAPTAIN Fuji-2 -- Launch!!
While tearing up the forest, the shape of the Fuji-2 begins to appear.
When the Fuji-2's tail ascends, the warship bridge steadies.
VOICE Launch all manned war planes!
The port gunwale catapult is opened, and from there the Fuji-2's manned
war planes are launched in rapid succession -- ST-25s and Concretes.
VOICE 20 seconds until contact with enemy fortress.
CAPTAIN The surface troops?
VOICE Yes, sir -- the surface troops have completed
preparations for withstanding thorough assault --
they're only waiting for the arrival of the Fuji-2.
CAPTAIN Good!
The Concretes fly, completely surrounding the Fuji-2; the Fuji-2 has
the air of being a fortress in space. Iczer One is crossing swords with
Void. But once again, Void hides itself. The appearance of the other
dimension changes.
ICZER ONE If I don't escape quickly from this dimension...!!
Iczer One is impatient to escape from the other dimension.
ICZER ONE Hah!
Sensing something behind her, Iczer-1 turns around and fires a beam,
Void falls from the upper sky, advancing while returning the beam
Iczer One shot. Void absorbs that beam and returns fire. Iczer One
nimbly dodges that, and jumps. In the sky, Iczer One and Void fiercely
exchange blows. Iczer One lands and sends a counterattack against Void.
Void, who approaches brandishing a sword, is smashed by Iczer One's
fist... Void's face twists in pain. Beams are sprayed from its body
where it caved in because of Iczer One's hand, then at last Void
explodes. However, the appearance of the other dimension changes again.
Iczer One goes "en garde" with a gasp. With the sound of footsteps,
a dark shadow approaches, aiming at Iczer One. The dark shadow strikes
at Iczer One's body, and quickly flies up and lands in a tree.
ICZER ONE Two of them, after all!
The dark shadow is another Void. The Fuji-2 approaches Nova and fires
a circle laser.
VOICE Cold-line-gun -- Fire!
VOICE Ground troops, cold-line-gun -- fire.
They begin a continuous counterattack from the surface and the sky.
Resting with Sayoko and her mother, Nagisa is sleeping too from heavy
exhaustion, but she wakes up when startled by Sayoko. As if running
away from Nagisa, Sayoko climbs up to the second floor.
NAGISA Sayoko, you mustn't go up there.
SAYOKO Huh? Why?
NAGISA Well... On the second floor, are Mama's and Papa's...
SAYOKO There's nothing!!
NAGISA Sayoko!!
Nagisa timidly ascends to the second floor.
SAYOKO Hey...
As Sayoko said, there is nothing in the rooms.
NAGISA Nothing! No corpses or anything, why...
They step into the room. But a hand appears from the floor, grabbing
Nagisa's ankle and knocking her down. Nagisa tries to get out in a
hurry, but she is caught again by a hand that appears from the floor.
SAYOKO Sister!! Sister!!
Sayoko tries desperately to open the door. Nagisa is caught painfully
in the monster's hand; discovering the monster's mouth bearing down on
her from the darkness in front of her, she screams in fear. Below,
a monster's evil hand presses Sayoko's mother, on the first floor.
The monster that caught Nagisa begins to extend its tongue from its
wide open mouth. Nagisa asks Iczer One for help with the drooling
monster.
ICZER ONE'S VOICE Fight, Nagisa, you can do it!
SAYOKO Sister! Sister!!
When she hears the voices of Sayoko and Iczer One, the bracelet on
her right arm shines, and shatters the monster's hand. With desperate
thoughts, Nagisa raises her right hand, fires a beam from the bracelet,
and buries the monster.
SAYOKO Sister!!
The door opens and Sayoko comes flying in.
NAGISA (panting) Sayoko...
Nagisa is out of breath because of strain and exhaustion.
SAYOKO Are you OK, Sister?
Sayoko looks worriedly into Nagisa's face.
NAGISA OK... I'm OK...
Upon saying so, Nagisa hugs Sayoko tightly..
Fuji-2's counterattack is continuing to oppose the Nova.
CEPIA Obnoxious aliens... Smash them!
Cepia orders a counterattack from the command deck inside Nova. With an
eerie, vibrating sound, Nova begins to glow here and there; a line of
light begins to shoot forth from the clouds in the upper sky, like
lightning.
CAPTAIN Wh -- What is it!!
The mysterious lines of light rain on the Fuji-2. At its circumference,
the Concretes and Perfect Fujis, struck by those lines of light, are
destroyed. The ground forces also explode one after the other, due to
the strange lines of light.
CAPTAIN C -- Crazy, with only this attack...!
The Fuji-2 also gets hit by a direct attack of the strange lines of
light, and blows up at once.
CEPIA Hmph! Fools.
Cepia grumbles on the command deck.
CREW Lord Cepia, this city attack has unbalanced the other
dimension we created, and Iczer One has escaped.
CEPIA I don't care, it's too late...
Meanwhile, when the other dimension has disappeared, taking advantage
of the crack she has seen in Void, Iczer One succeeds in destroying Void.
A single beam attacks Iczer One, who has just destroyed Void. A person's
shadow appears in the explosion in front of Iczer One.
ICZER TWO Hello, big sister. I am Iczer Two, your little sister...
ICZER ONE Iczer Two! Little sister!?
Iczer One is startled.
ICZER TWO I am the daughter of Big Gold, therefore, your little
sister.
ICZER ONE Big Gold! That can't be right!!
ICZER TWO I was created to kill you... Only for that...
Upon saying that, Iczer Two holds out her hand, whereupon a ball of
light appears over her hand. Then that ball of light changes into a
laser sword.
ICZER TWO Come on, Iczer One!!
Iczer Two grasps the sword and jumps at Iczer One. Iczer One and Iczer Two
both jump into the sky and cross swords. Iczer Two lands nimbly and shoots
a beam at Iczer One. Then Iczer Two slashes at Iczer One, who has dodged
the beam, and sends her sword flying.
ICZER TWO Heh, heh, heh... Don't underestimate me, Iczer One --
Ignoramus!!
Iczer Two slashes at Iczer One. After exchanging fierce beams, in one
instant Iczer One is hit by Iczer Two's beam, and thrown against
the wall.
ICZER TWO What's the matter, Iczer One? Can't you stand up?
Iczer Two speaks condescendingly.
ICZER TWO Get up! I hate weaklings!! If you don't stand up,
I'll slap you!
Iczer One stands up desperately.
ICZER TWO That's the spirit, big sister. I hate murder.
Iczer Two shoots a beam, overjoyed to have cornered Iczer One. Iczer One
dodges that by jumping, and runs away to the building's roof, shooting at
the pursuing Iczer Two. Iczer Two dodges just in front of it, and shoots
a beam with anger. The beam spreads out and hits Iczer One's shoulder.
ICZER ONE Ah---!
SAYOKO'S MOTHER Sayoko... Sayoko... Sayoko...
Sayoko's mother, infected by a monster, draws near to Nagisa and
Sayoko.
SAYOKO Mama!! What's wrong!! Mama!! Mama!!
NAGISA Sayoko!! Your mother... Your mother is...
SAYOKO Mama!!
One after another, monsters appear around the two.
SAYOKO Sister, I'm scared!!
Iczer Two approaches the defeated Iczer One.
ICZER TWO This is it, isn't it... Iczer One.
Upon saying that, Iczer Two grabs Iczer One's wounded shoulder.
ICZER ONE Ow!!
More and more powerfully, Iczer Two lifts Iczer One.
ICZER ONE Ah---!!
The monsters press Nagisa and Sayoko.
SAYOKO Sister!!
NAGISA Don't look!! Shut your eyes!
(To herself) I want to protect! I want to protect this child, at least...
No matter what, I mustn't fail to protect Sayoko!
While Nagisa prays for that, surrounded by the approaching monsters,
the bracelet on her arm glitters.
NAGISA Power... I want power... Very, very strong power!
Strong power!!
When Nagisa yells that, her body begins to shine brightly. The
surrounding monsters fly apart when struck by that light. Nagisa
opens her eyes in the light, and Iczer Robo appears in there.
NAGISA Iczer Robo!!
Due to Iczer Robo's appearance, Nagisa's determination to fight to
protect Sayoko is strengthened.
ICZER TWO Iczer Robo...
Iczer Two has noticed Iczer Robo's appearance.
ICZER TWO Is that what it means, Iczer One...! Your partner has
called!! How about if you ally with her! There is also
Cepia and her promise... Iczer Sigma will give you the
death stroke.
Upon saying that, Iczer Two disappears.
ICZER ONE Nagisa...
Iczer One stands up desperately while clutching her wound, and allies
with Iczer Robo.
ICZER ONE Nagisa... You called Iczer Robo...
NAGISA Iczer One... I... I will fight.
ICZER ONE Do you mean it?! Nagisa!!
NAGISA I will fight!!
Nagisa answers firmly. Before their eyes, a huge Cotuwolf robot
appears with a glitter.
ICZER TWO Ha, ha, ha... Did you see, Iczer One? This is my other
self, Iczer Sigma.
(To Cepia) Let's go, Cepia. Your power must be far
greater than that of the Earth girl. Iczer Robo and such
are no problem!
CEPIA Yes! How long I have waited for this, Iczer Two! Without
fail I will smash Iczer Robo, and exact revenge for
Cobalt.
ICZER ONE Iczer Sigma... I guess you'll win, with this body of
mine... No, Nagisa is fighting with me... Nothing
can frighten me...
NAGISA Sayoko... I won't run away, either... Because I will
protect Sayoko, and everyone on Earth...
NARRATOR At once, Big Gold's trump card, Iczer Sigma, appears!
Will Iczer Robo be silent before that frightful power?
Then will Iczer One be able to beat the evil Iczer Two?
Nagisa, Sayoko, the fate of Earth... Fight, Nagisa!
Fight, Iczer One!!
